Mechanical technician
Installing, drilling, turning, milling, bevelling, measuring, etc.
Mechanical technicians acquire a broad range of practical job skills during their apprenticeship. You produce individual parts for various devices, process various materials, import the necessary data from technical drawings and work in the repairs and maintenance service or assembly. In short: Mechanical technicians are in high demand! A job as a mechanical technician is just the thing if you prefer a more active approach than sitting at school desks all day long. Because reliability and endurance are more important than juggling with figures and learning words off by heart. Craftsmanship never ceases to be in demand and a job as a mechanical technician will be mechanically cool in the future too. Because people who can skilfully tackle problems are needed despite computer technology and turbo machines. Force alone is not sufficient – which is why there are also female mechanical technicians. Single-item production, maintenance and repairs of machines and carrying out and supporting simple production procedures as well work at customer’s sites is part of the job.

Logistics assistant
For people with an overview
Here the most modern technical tools are at your disposal. Logistics assistants mediate and provide logistics services, in particular in the areas of storage, traffic and distribution. They ensure the quality of the activities in goods acceptance and goods transfer, during transport and in the warehouse. During these tasks they maintain contacts to customers, implement their needs and represent their company. With e-commerce the job becomes even more important because the goods ordered online must be brought to their destination rationally and cost-effectively with the full satisfaction of the customer. Seetal Elco AG’s computerised high bay warehouse with 6,000 pallet spaces plays an important role for the company’s success. You fulfil a central task of logistics as logistics assistant.
